This plate shows the pencil scribble from my logo.
Pencil, graphite, is for me the most direct material to make art with. And graphite, which is carbon, is everywhere; wood, coal, oil, gas but also carbon dioxide is created in nature and even humans produce carbon dioxide.
Both in art and earth- and human existence it is the start of creation.

Because Ceramic atelier Cor Unum gave me the honor of putting this scribble on one of their art plates, it is also a tribute to old worn dinner plates. For years, knives and forks leave their marks on tableware. A reflection of time.
