young talent willem zwiers made this project about realizing children’s drawings. he plays with perspective, usage and the formal language if the drawings. using them as blueprints of the objects. with no concessions, the result is stunningly whimsical, functional and magical.

note:

The Whimsy collection is composed entirely according to the insight of the makers. No object is the same, apart from the size large or small. The makers can experiment with the spout and the handle and the “scratching”, it is possible that both the spout and the handle are in a completely different place than in the images shown in the webshop. The scratching also differs per object, like an original drawing.
